We’re a referral service, not a plumber
Gold Coast Blocked Drains (goldcoastblockeddrains.com) is a referral service run by Vertial Holdings Pty Ltd (ABN 72 629 494 926). We don’t do plumbing or drainage work. We don’t employ plumbers. We don’t hold a plumbing licence, and we don’t need one, because we don’t do the work.
When you call us or send the form, we take down your enquiry. If you agree, we pass it to one independent plumbing business that works in your area and holds a current QBCC licence. That business contacts you, quotes, and does the work. Your contract for the work is with that business.
How we’re paid
Plumbing businesses pay us for the enquiries we send them. That can be a fee for each enquiry, or a monthly fee to receive the enquiries for an area. You don’t pay us anything, and the plumber’s price to you is their own.
Because we’re paid by the businesses we refer to, we have a commercial relationship with them. We don’t receive any payment that depends on what you decide to buy.
Our phone line
Calls to our number are answered by a virtual assistant, not a person, and calls are recorded. The assistant tells you this at the start of the call. It takes your details and asks whether you agree to us passing them to a local plumber. It doesn’t give prices or arrival times.
